Skinned up east facing slopes to access north aspect run. Elevation appeared to be the name of the game with crusty, icy snow below 2000m on all aspects (ski crampons a must in steep trees). Avalanche forecasters are on point with cornices and snowpack description. Very calm day and slightly warmer than expected.
