Comments
Hasty pit in the Naraway area on industrial course- Snowpack varied from 40cm to 100cm depending on Aspect. Most aspects had extremely dense crust (approx 5-10cm thick) that made sidehilling and carving a challenge. small slopes were reactive on this layer by sidehilling. The deeper 1M snowpack was a mix of Melt Freeze/Sun Crust and Faceted/sugary snow throughout the entire snowpack.
