Comments
As other have noted, wet avalanche debris from March throughout Loop Brook but only 5-10 minutes of boot pack required at the Elephant Trunk. Snow above 1800 m was good if not a bit dense, otherwise a bit too wet.
Very minor drumming and exposure of slightly icy slab on wind affected sections above 1800m.
All in all a du afternoon out.
