Comments
North side of Lookout Col is a mix of hard (pencil to knife resistance) wind slab & junk show (unsupportive) facets.
Strong SW winds at the Col, transporting what little free snow that remains.
Descended the South side on a firm & supportive surface, dodging a very large (sz 3) old avalanche deposit from Young Pk NW ridge. Good snow in the hemlock grove, but the Raven avi path looks & skis like a bad day at the resort.
Just starting to snow at day's end, but need approx 20+ cm for a reset
