Comments
Broken skies and -15c. Light winds at highway level.
In the trees; ski pen was 5-10cm. There’s still some soft snow in sheltered terrain.
Above treeline; conditions were very variable with wide spread wind affect with zero ski pen in places.
Open creeks, rocks and trees still remain a hazard. Some rocks on the fraser / bryant lake access trail are barely covered and will not be kind to sled A-arms and skis.
We heard and felt whoomphing in low angle open terrain at treeline. No new avalanches observed.
