Comments
Observed an avalanche run to ground today on a small steep slope with wind affected snow and shallow rocky areas just below ridge line around 2200m. Variable crown height up to what looked like about 150cm. We skiied this slope in the morning with no results. Likely triggered later by sledders. Good reminder that the deep persistent problems are still reacting under the right conditions.
