Comments

Went chasing the first MIN, to see for ourselves. With the wind values where they were we saw medium to intense blowing snow. In the drainage, wind seemed to be coming from every direction. With eyes on the glacier and lots of exposed, bare ice, we deemed it not worthwhile battling the winds, bare rock and ice. I admire Andrew’s tenacity for going in on skis and up the glacier.

BTL to TL snow was 5-30cm. Generally where it was deeper it was wind pressed but breakable. TL and above was observed to be scoured to rocks and ice with scattered pockets of snow.
