Comments
Good day for a ridge walk along planetary peak. Enjoyed the views, but not the skiing up high which was hard and crusty. Hard to kick steps up the ridge. Things softened up on the way down on S aspects, and we found great powder well preserved on N aspects. No signs of instability aside from pinwheeling at lower elevations on the ski out. Some evidence of small cornice failures but nothing released.
