Comments

With weak existing layers and 30cm+ fresh light snow, decision was to ride a lower aspect. Snow was knee to waist deep, fluffy and fun.

Took a high cut to avoid what looked like a small wind loaded convex, and slab broke 5 feet below ski line. We were a group of five, and all were safe and out of the slab zone. Steeper aspects could of provided much worse consequences.
