Comments

Pretty mediocre conditions up summit creek. Variable snow and weather was the name of the game. Alternating sun/cloud, wind/still, hot/cold all day approaching 0 degrees in the sun. Whumpfing everywhere we went. Skied some moderate slopes (<22 degrees, I measured :p) and had moderate amount of fun. A good day for moderation. Thank god for good company and good cheese (cambazola and nacho). Saw lots of size 1 slides on all aspects, all appeared to be > 24 hrs old. First photo shows tension cracks at the top of a convex roll (s facing, ~25 deg at steepest). A good portion of the slope settled WHUMPF! when I sauntered over to take the photo.

Play safe and bring cheese!
