Comments
Rain crust exists up to 1600m. We set Hidden Peak as an objective and were hoping to ski south aspects due to Northerly wind from the past week. Once we reached the ridge, it was evident that the change of direction in wind had made North aspects the better option, with South remaining wind grazed and (soon to be) sun grazed. Snow conditions were great. No instabilities observed, except for minor wind slab presence near ridgelines, and wind slabs surrounding peaks.
