Comments
Very good laps on the Ogden Moraines/back of Sherbrooke Lake. Minimal wind transport.
Significant avalanches from the Ogden Wall, mid to far lookers right when standing on the lake. Likely from the wind event Tuesday. Obvious signs of cornice collapses.
Also noticed a cornice failure triggering what seemed to be a solid size 2 slab, lookers right of Phantom couloir (sorry no photos). Estimated this was again from the wind event on Tuesday but we did see a secondary failure that happened between our first and second lap. The pin is dropped on the location of the avalanche.
-18 at the parking lot at 9am/ -5 at 12pm, 2200m.
