Comments
Lots of people out enjoying White Tail.
20-30 of new low density snow.
Gusts and squalls throughout the day, with wind picking up in the afternoon.
Gradual warming throughout the day, -9 at the car in the morning at -1 in the evening.
Saw some small pockets of storm snow crack and slide on the firm old surface at and below ridgetop, likely will get worse as winds continue.
New snow on steep slopes was sloughing and entraining mass however we didn't notice slab characteristics.
