Comments
Planned for a big tour in the Corbin area. As we started out, warm temperatures hovering around zero at 1800m and almost no visibility quickly changed our plans. New snow amounts were 15 - 20cm and had started to form into a consolidated layer. With no visibility of overhead hazards (cornices and loading up high) we decided to play in some mellow terrain in an area we were familiar with that was not below any avalanche paths.
