Comments
20cm of fist density snow overlies 15cm of impenetrable crust in this area. There is a great deal of refrozen avalanche debris hiding under the new snow. On top of the crust small facets have developed, no slabs noted as most snow on these facets is quite unconsolidated. Much more settlement and snow needed to refresh this zone.
