Comments
Today we headed to the Anthills and found good riding in fresh sheltered snow. We dug at pit around 1900m and found an unexciting snowpack. The recent storm and wind slabs gave stubborn results in our tests and appear to be healing. We avoided large overhead slopes and loaded lee features as we gathered information about conditions. We kept a close eye on the snow but saw no signs of recent avalanches or shooting cracks as we rode. While we started by testing smaller slopes around tree line, we finished the day on some bigger south facing alpine slopes.
