Comments
Spent today around Emerald Peak. Our group of 5 skied a steep westerly slope (30-40 degrees) from 2450m down to 2150m and saw no signs of instability. Snow was slightly wind affected but still skied nicely. Weather was partly cloudy, winds calm but gusting to moderate in exposed areas. Slight sun crust was noted on steep southerly slopes.
