Amazing day at Crowfoot skiing chutes and pillow lines. Up track sucked - especially given somebody had the bright idea to try their snowshoes in the skin track ... aside from that unpleasantness, amazing boot top facets to ski down chutes and pillow lines over a supportive mid pack and garbage underneath. No signs of instabilities throughout the day and still really good lines to be skied (unless you’re aiming for the mellow north facing run which is tracked out). Saw recent slab avalanche lookers right of the ice that crowned in the moraines, approx size 2 and E facing. Hard to say if it was yesterday or before.
