Comments
Terrible day in the Rolston Creek area. Skinning was difficult with 40cm ski penetration, slow sliding. Best part of the day was digging our snow profile and doing tests.
The day started off with rain at valley bottom and soaked us before we even started skinning up the trail. Things cooled down around 1100m but travel was still difficult. Wind was whipping today and was starting to affect the snow even in the trees.
