HS 85cm at 1550m, 155cm at 1775m. Dug a pit at 1775m northeast aspect - early Nov crust was down 105cm. Fist at surface to 1F just above crust. Crust is P hardness, lamination about 15cm thick in this location, moist snow beneath crust to ground. CTNx2. Hard to get crust interface to shear in this spot, shovel shear on remainder of compression test column broke at saw beneath crust.
Didn't go far today, but observed two size 1 loose dry out of NE facing cliffy terrain, in fresh snow from Sunday night.
Great skiing right down to 1550m!
