• 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Skied South/ SE slopes in the drainage including 8812. Snow quality was excellent in the bowl despite the higher wind gusts (30+kmh). Observed a large crown following shallow release points on 8812 - release date unknown but observed on March 20th.

Noticed lots of avalanche debris in Cheops North Bowl on the ski out, likely from the cornice failure reported on the GNP bulletin.
