Comments
A couple new cam’s in the high alpine of Oboe Bowl, with a couple of visible cornices. Temperature inversion that day with -8C in the village and close to 0C in the high alpine. Soft snow still present with warming during the day. With dropping temperatures near 1pm, crusting started happening. It was a quick temperature change, but we had expected it. On steeper terrain 35 degree + we observed traces of a recent avalanche, so we stayed away.
