Comments
Natural size 2 slab avalanche observed with approx 40cm crust on a 30-40 degree angle, windloaded, southeast facing slope.
Very poor riding conditions from alpone to trees. Had to skin down from brew hut to parking as snow was too wet and heavy for skiing.
Rain started at about 1400m midafternoon, but freszing levels dropped later in evening with wet snow falling by 8pm.
