Avalanche conditions

• 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Toured around White Queen and Mt Beatie today. We had periods of stormy weather with short sunny periods and light westerly winds.

Lots of snow transport around ridgelines with wind slabs on eastern aspects.

We saw no signs of avalanche activity because visibility was fairly poor today.
