A day late report from Thursday Jan 25.

About 15 cm of unconsolidated fresh snow from valley bottom to ridge top. South facing upper slopes of the ridge had ~10 cm of barely consolidated, unreactive soft slab. Right side up snow, with increasing density down to and well bonded to the Jan 15 crust, 40-60 cm. We did not look deeper than this.

No natural avalanche activity was observed on the south facing slopes. Ski quality was fantastic. Bottomless powder gave way to powder over a denser base about half way down. Alder mostly covered over in the lower chutes.
