We started by going up the cut line to try the meadows. However as predicted it was very wind slabby. The slabs were positively bullet proof across the whole aspect of the meadows and even around features that looked like they would have added some wind protection. We side slipped down to the trees and had a relatively decent time skiing through the trees for a few laps in foot deep powder.
