Comments
Ski cut size 1, 30 cm on a small feature at treeline on a west aspect.
We followed the hiking trail up to Glacier Crest and dropped in on the west slopes before they become really steep.
We had amazing ski quality at treeline. Below treeline, esp. below 1600 m the snowpack was shallow and we could feel the crust through. The riding quality was okay below treeline.
We had some glimpses of the sun and blue sky in between foggy periods.
