Comments
It was our first day ski touring this year and we headed to Mt Brooks. Ski quality was deep and the latest storm brought the average HS to 110CM. Ski penetration was about 25cm. Snow was beginning to form a slight storm slab towards the end of the day, but wasn't cohesive or widespread (yet).
Wind was gusting to moderate throughout the day with plenty of wind transport happening near ridge crests.
