The canyon traveled well and there was only one place that we have to remove our skis to get over the creek. There was one settlement on the moraines on the way up to the glacier. Gusting ridgetop winds observed and experienced on Little Crowfoot.
Avalanche Observations (all within the last 24 hours):
- Size 2.5-3 off the NE Face of The Onion
- 2 Size 1 point releases off of SE facing rocky slope at TL on Mt. Jimmy Simpson
- 2 Size 1's released on rocky features in the canyon
Skinned back over Bow Lake with a few/wet soft sections. Looking across to Observation, Sub Observations & Cirque Peak from Bow Lake, and didn't see any avalanche activity. Great visibility and beautiful views today!
