Comments
Fun cut block riding around Joan Lake today.
Snow varied from harder wind affected snow in open areas, to softer powder in sheltered areas. We stayed low and played in cut blocks and around the lake/creek.
Dig a pit at 1000m on a western aspect in an open area below the trees.
Repeated planer failure on a hard crust 38cm down on hard hits (21-24). Extended column propagated all the way across on 24th hard hit and was easy to pull slab away.
Tried to cut overhanging/steep features but did not have any results.
