Comments
Toured up Obs Sub Peak SW Ridge and over summit down to the Cirque/Obs Sub Peak Col. Lots of wind effect and scouring in the alpine made for highly variable skiing, with a mix of bulletproof windslab, windskins, and faceted sastrugi. No signs of instability noted. Not much recent avalanche activity apart from one recent size 1.5 slab in the North Bowl of Cirque Forepeak.
