Comments
We rode Knob 1 trees south aspect first thing in the am before solar was high. Then did a couple alpine laps on West aspects around noon, finished the day doing the 2 east aspect couloirs.
Did several hand shears and pole probing throughout the day, new snow was well bonded. Other than sluff on the slopes >35 degrees, good snow stability, just a couple point releases seen from sun exposed rock around the area, no propagation.
Minor wind slab on ridge top of Knob 1 forming.
Excellent weather and great day skiing.
