Dug a quick pit, found faceted feb 16 crust layer about 75cm down, layer of facets was approx 3-4inches thick. Moderately steep temp gradient. Resistant compression in upper layers with column test. No propagation on said layer but were on a mellow slope approx 23 degrees. Shovel sheer was super easy failing on the facets.
While traveling up lots of settlement of that layer.
