Beautiful day for a tour up Cayoosh. Cover was less than expected and even less in sheltered/treed areas. About 50-60cm of powder in more open areas and <20cm in the thicker trees. Skwacked (ski/bushwacked) our way up to 1600m then turned around. Not enough snow in the cutblock for any skiing unfortunately so we left skins on and did our best to bash our way out! All good fun and nice to get out for some early season exercise.
