Comments
95 cm HS at treeline (2100m).
Surface was new PP’s below treeline. At treeline and above there was a thin wind slab changing to a pencil plus slab up to 5cm thick on east/northeast aspects and at ridge line.
We observed cracking under our skis (minimal), certainly some potential for propagation in the right pocket.
Skied Bruins to 8812. Low tide on the last part of the ridge made gaining the col a little more interesting than usual. Ski quality in the bowl was good but watch out for sharks, they’re bitin!
