Comments
Went for a mellow tour onto the North ridge of PK with the gf. Conditions were very good up high, especially for this time of year. Above the Black Forest cat track was great snow and coverage. Below that there was not quite enough to safely ski trees and runs were sporty. Above the t-bar there is over 100cm tapering to a couple feet at elevation of bottom of tbar. Did not dig a pit but was able to plunge my ski pole up to the handle on the skin track.
