Three days in Marriott Basin from 180109-11. Storm snow over 180106 Mfcr variable from 7cm at hwy to 30-50cm at 2100m. Crust is semi-supportive on solar asp and has facets above and below. Crossloading on solar asp has created soft windslabs next to ribs that are easily triggered on slopes as low as 30 deg in the alpine. Deeper penetration at TL and BTL and better stability. Temps down to -9C Thursday a.m.
