Comments
We had a beautiful sunny day sledding at Microwave Ridge. The hard snow let us travel far and with the low avalanche hazard, we felt comfortable accessing bigger terrain. We checked out the view by the repeater, then dropped into Sugar Bowl and Sun Pit. Treeline terrain still had soft snow over hard snow that made for fun turns. We had great Alpine views and did not see any new avalanches. Feathery surface hoar was growing right up to ridge crest which we'll be mindful of when it snows again.
