Skied on Helen shoulder today. Good travel conditions and good ski conditions. Up to 20cm of powder in places. The SW side of the ridge was noticeably less wind affected than the NE side. At tree line there were some wind slabs both old and newly forming and ranging from soft to hard. Skied over a few of them in small terrain features and occasionally got some cracking underneath the fresh snow but no sliding. The wind slabs are out there for sure.
