Ridge below Antenna Peak

Saturday (Day 2 for our group at Red). We had calm sunny conditions in the alpine with 2 cm new snow overnight. We dug a quick pit (~1770 m) before skiing our first north facing gentle convexe slope. Snow was shallow (~60 cm) and very wind affected. We were not able to make the hard wind affected column react with our compression test. Sking was nice, but we chose to manage our terrain and stay away from terrain traps and steeper loaded slopes. The rest of the day we toured the ridgeline to Green Mnt and skied a variety of treed and alpine slopes while still sking conservatively. No signs of natural avalanches or snowpack instability was observed while skiing. A storm rolled in in the afternoon, wind picked up from the SW and about 2-5 cm came down while we were skiing. Later that evening another 10 cm fell.
