Comments
Close to 2 feet of fresh sitting on a very crusty hard layer. Probed 165cm snow depth. No observed whumping or cracking. New snow was adhering to the crust surprising well with no evidence of fresh slides on mellow to moderate slopes. Evidence of cornice/small slides off the steep slopes and mountain faces. Stayed well clear of avi paths and terrain traps near those steep slopes.
