Comments
Blowing snow at ridge crests on Sunday, with wind affecting ski quality above 1800m.
15-20cm new snow Saturday night into Sunday morning. Widespread whumpfing 1600-1800m on solar aspects, new snow sitting on a thin sun crust and reactive (storm snow slid when isolating a column for a hand shear). Several small natural wind slabs on NE thru NW lee features at treeline. A size 1.5 natural wind slab noted circa 1900m SE aspect, ran far, thin crown (15cm).
