Comments
Optimistic trip up the gorge hoping the freezing level would be lower than reported, didn't make it past 12k before a small opening above the road slid and blocked our way. Listening on the radio we heard reports of slides at 14, 15 and 17. Turned tail and went home. Was above 0 at approx 1200m and sleeting pretty heavily.
