Comments

Skied the Gorge today, first run if the day was on a South West facing slope, we where almost at ridge top which was wind effected, the run had variable snow and was pretty firm from the recent high winds, second run was on a North West slope, we dug a quick hasty pit on about a 35 degree slope just before we dropped, we had results on a compression test from the wriste with one result being on 2 taps which was a resistant planer and the other 9 taps from the wriste and that was a sudden planer and both where 30cm down to the reactive layer. We decided to ski pretty supportive terrain on the way down but still steep with some open slopes, nothing was moving that we noticed.
