Comments
Day started off well, fresh snow from the last dump was still on the fluffier side. As it got closer to noon, the heat warmed the snow and turned it into sticky mush that was tough to turn in. Few signs of instability (some cracking). We werent too concerned with avalanche danger as wet avalanches were main risk and the slopes were not steep, but if we were touring past pauls ridge under avalanche terrain, the risk would definitely be a consideration. Rain came around 2pm which made the snow even worse.
