Comments

Another 30 cm overnight so it's getting deep when you hop off the sled. With all the new snow, big wind, and warming temperatures once again we kept our tails tucked in and went looking for low angle cutblocks where we could see enough to travel, test the snow and keep it safe. Surprising we didn't see any natural avalanches, even with the afternoon clearing, and we didn't get results cutting small test slopes. It warmed to zero at 1600m this afternoon.
Low angle cutblocks gave us visibility while it was storming in the morning. Didn't expect it to clear this much in the afternoon!
