Comments
We did a day trip to Rohr Lake and skied Easy Out to keep it mellow. There were no signs of instability where we were but we heard what we think was two separate avalanches in the alpine. Long rumbling sounds for 8-10 seconds. Visibility wasn’t good so we couldn’t verify.
Weather wise the day started out calm with light flurries. We even saw blue sky in places. By the time we reached the lake it was snowing heavily. Heavy snow started about 1:00pm.
