Comments

We were at Hanging lake overnight Friday / Saturday. Snow was very light on Friday, probably ~30cm of fresh snow ; and denser on Saturday. Given the amount of snow and no traces, we actively avoided engaged terrain and stop just short of gin peak on the W facing slope. Overall the snow-pack seemed cohesive everywhere we rode, we didn't see any sign of avalanche activity.

There are a few menacing cornices on the north side of the face.

On Saturday the place became popular, and some people rode much more engaged terrain (convex, couloirs) on NW/N facing slope, we saw no activity (which doesn't mean you should).

We saw what seemed to be debris on the way up, terrain is under cliffs and cornices, be careful around there.
