Comments
Mountain Addicts AST 1 just outside the boundary near lost boys pass. Strong southerly winds and gusts throughout day. Lots of redistribution of storm snow- scoured down to old surfaces in places and loaded pockets of windslab on others. Fans below cliffs and spill zones were looking fat.
We dug a snow pit at pass in wind loaded area below ridge
HS 190cms 1770m N aspect
Multiple moderate results in compression tests down 40-60 (recent storm and windslab) RP
No result on Dec. 8 crust, down 100cms in this location ...Although in other pits the last few days I have been seeing results failing in facets just below this crust
