After checking the temps on the Duffey stations headed up to Vantage Ridge for a quick look. Still below freezing at the parking lot at 130pm, warmer climbing through SW sections. 3pm hasty pit just before gaining the ridge. N facing aspect at 1890m, CTM 16, SP, approx 50cm down. Good dry snow at ridge top and still below freezing. A group had previously skied the N tree section with no evidence of avalanche activity. Great snow down to 1650m where it opened up and seemed to be slightly denser snow to 1450m. Then good dry snow in the trees all the way out. Hopefully the below treeline N section survives tomorrow.
